A rare 18th century cosmetic gold covered box. 3" wide, 2.5" deep and 0.9 high, in very good condition with no damages, it has some very minor tiny dents here and there.
Bottom Chinese mark can be translated as "solid gold" or "pure gold". While the box is 18th century or earlier, the stamp mark could be done later. It weighs 69.3 grams. It is finely engraved and carved with two phoenixes in play. There are scratches and wear on the bottom.
